Q:How much do you charge for _____________________?
A:We do free, on-site estimates. Since every situation is diferent, this is the most accurate way to provide pricing.
There are some situations where we may be able to provide "ballpark" pricing. Contact us for more details.

Q: My gutters aren't functioning properly. Do I need new gutters?
A:We do free, on-site estimates so we can give assess your particular situation but 95% of the time you do not need new gutters. Usually, the gutters & downspouts just need to be cleared of debris.

Additionally, minor repairs, like adding hangers, sealing leaks and slope adjustment can be made without replacing gutters.

While we can replace, or even re-hang, a section or two, if you need all new gutters, we will refer you to a trusted company that specializes in that.


Q: If I need a section or two of gutter replaced, can you do that?

Q: All of my gutters need to be replaced. Do you do that?

Q: How much do you charge to fix a leak?
A:In most cases: 1 leak = $75, 2 leaks= $125, 3 leaks= $150. Any additional leaks +$25/leak.


Q: When you say you "Clean Gutters", what does that entail?
A:We will clear the debris from the gutters and snake out the downspouts. The debris will be bagged and removed from the property. 

If necessary we will dismantle the downspouts to remove stubborn clogs.

Upon the first rainfall, if there are any problems with water flow/drainage, we will come back out and take care of the problem.

Note:  When installing a gutter protection system we utilize a leaf blower to ensure all debris is out of the gutters.


Q: Can I set up a regular gutter cleaning maintenance schedule?
A:Yes.

First, we will enter your job into our database. Next, you choose which month or months you want service.

You are not obligated to have the service performed.

Based on your specifications, a reminder call will be made to you before we provide the service.

If the service is desired, we will provide you with a schedule for the service.


Q: I am confused by all the different options of Gutter Guards, Gutter Protection Systems, etc. Can you help me make the right choice?
A:YES.

It is easy to be overwhelmed by all the choices.

First we will assess your particular situation to see what elements you are dealing with.

The elements include: Amount, proximity and type of trees. Type, pitch and condition of roof. Amount of maintenance you are willing/able to do yourself.

Extent of product warranty. Aesthetics. Budget. Your personal preferences.

Second, together we will determine which product is the best choice for your situation.

Also, we will be happy to explain the pros & cons of any product you are interested in.

Comparing various systems in terms of a cost-benefit anaylsis is usually an eye-opener.

We feel that an educated customer is a smart customer. Ultimately, the decision is up to you. We do not employ, nor do we need, any "hard-sell" tactics.

Q: I have an existing gutter protection system. My warranty requires some basic maintenance in order for it to remain in force. Can you maintain my system while complying with the warranty?
A:Yes.

Gutter Gators can maintain your GPS, under the terms of your warranty, at a reasonable price.

We will examine your warranty and consult with the installer and/or manufacturer if necessary, in order to insure compliance.

A written maintenance plan will be provided to you, including the cost for the service.

If we notice any issues that would be the responsibility of the installer or manufacturer we will alert you right away.

This will allow you to continue to get the best possible performance from your system, worry free.


Q: I have problems with icicles/ice dams/ice on the roof/ice in the gutters. Can you help with this?
A:Yes.

First we will assess your particular situation to see what elements you are dealing with.

Even though ice problems show up on the roof and in the gutters, the fact is that most of the time ice problems are the cause of poor ventilation and/or poor insulation in the attic.

In some cases, the roof design "funnels" snow into one area, usually over the front door, and icicles form and drip/freeze on the front walkway.

We can treat these "symptoms" by installing heat cables on the roof and in the gutters. If you have a gutter protections system,we will integrate the cables with your GPS.

For convenience, we install a thermostat on the cables so it will turn on automatically when the temperature falls below 38 F.

The cables will automatically turn off when the temperature rises above 38 F. This will keep you from having to remember to plug-in/unplug your cables during the year.

In addition to the convenience, the energy savings is significant with this technology.


Q: How much do you charge for a typical chimney cap installation?
A:For most situations, we can install a basic chimney cap for $95, including the cap.

If your issue exceeds our expertise we will refer you to a reputable chimney sweep.


Q: My gutters drain underground. Can you clear those out?
A:We clear gutters and downspouts down to ground level. When the drains disappear underground, we can run a snake through the first 10 feet.

If the underground drain is collapsed or clogged we are unable to service those drains.

If this service is required, we can refer you to a trusted company that specializes in that.
